Assistive Technology (AT)

What is Assistive Technology? From our perspective, we agree with EA Draffen from the University of Southampton, who says that “assistive technology is any technology that makes it possible for a person to do something they could not do without that technology”. The term “assistive technology” is generally used to describe software or hardware that enables disabled people to do something that otherwise would have been difficult or impossible to do without it.
