PgCert in Needs Assessment and Training of Enabling and Learning Technologies (NATELT)
This course examines how to determine and develop enhanced learning programmes for learners claiming the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). It looks at the assessment and delivery of assistive and enabling technology training using a range of approaches with underpinning theories and research. It will explore how to develop strategies and ergonomic solutions for a wide range of learning disabilities and differences as well as physical and medical needs.
This is an MA certificate (60 credits) which provides a professional qualification for disability practitioners, including support tutors, disability officers, DSA trainers and needs assessors working with students who claim the DSA.
